Credit Benchmark is a financial data analytics company offering access to an entirely new source of information: the consensus credit risk view of the world’s leading banks. These unique credit risk indicators help deliver a greater understanding of the credit quality of entities around the world.

We are growing rapidly and are looking to hire an experienced Product Manager to join our London Office.

 

The role

Credit Benchmark’s customer base is rapidly growing and we are looking to hire an energetic client-facing product manager to support this growth. The role will report to the product team lead, based from our NY office-. We are looking for someone with 2+ years of product experience combined with the drive and communication skills to both champion and develop the Credit Benchmark offering.

 

As a Product Manager, you would be responsible for:

  • Developing the product offering for our core client base of global financial institutions
  • Supporting and developing the commercial teams’ engagement with prospective clients
  • Overseeing, supporting and managing the implementation of Credit Benchmark services within the existing client base by embedding Credit Benchmark data within workflows aligned to overall client strategy

Your responsibilities will include

  • Prioritisation: Collecting, consolidating and synthesizing the client opportunities and requirements across the user base, based on articulation of specific user personas
  • Implementation: Working with key stakeholders to agree, develop and then implement solutions to meet the defined use cases
  • Innovation: Actively prototyping and validating new concepts and approaches to the service, based on deep understanding of client functions and requirements combined with an appreciation of the current technological environment
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the Credit Benchmark sales, relationship management and account management functions to ensure consistent, focused and effective communication and implementation of the Credit Benchmark service
  • Commercial: Identification of commercial opportunities and execution against them
  • Ownership: Accountability of the Credit Benchmark product offering by identifying, prioritising and delivering the optimal product set to clients
  • Product evangelist: Understand, communicate and promote the Credit Benchmark offering with users and prospective users
  • Partnership: build and manage professional client relationships, broadening and deepening the Credit Benchmark footprint within the client organisations

 

What we are looking for:

  • Have 2+ years’ experience working in a product management function
  • Have obtained a university degree in Finance, Economics, Sciences, Engineering or similar
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to lead product discussions
  • Have high levels of organisational skills to manage broad range of priorities
  • Are able to understand technical complexity and competence in data analysis
  • Have excellent administrative and project management skills
  • Are diligent, proactive and driven, able to demonstrate initiative to develop existing relationships
  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Confident and articulate in describing concepts and solving problems
  • Fluency in English is a must, additional languages desirable
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
